Andrew Currie is an experienced storyboard artist and illustrator based in Vancouver, Canada. He is adept at working remotely by phone and internet to meet deadlines abroad. Andrew effectively interprets scripts and directors' treatments into film appropriate storyboard sequences. His storyboard style clearly communicates composition, camera motion, shot angles, and lens selection; all important for shooting accurate and compelling live action.
Andrew began his freelance illustration career in 1993 working in the advertising industry in Vancouver. His rendering talents were gradually adapted to commercial television production and he has been honing his skills for this genre ever since.
Andrew is a full member, in good standing, of the I.A.T.S.E. (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Operators of the United States and Canada) Local 891. He is part of the Art Department and he specializes in storyboarding and production illustration.
